Q. Are you limited to one genre of music?
A. No. We offer a wide selection of music that ranges from classic old school to top 40.


Q. Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently offer on your song list?
A. Yes, with certain restrictions. Requests must be submitted before specified deadlines. We reserve the right to decline any songs that are inappropriate for execution or any that misrepresent us.


Q. How many members do you regularly have?
A. Typically nine. For most sets, we provide the standard: keyboard, bass guitar, lead guitar, drums; background vocalists; and our featured entertainer. Packages may or may not include horns. Our packages are 'customized', based on availability, client preference, space limitation, budget restrictions, music genre, etc. 



Q. What is your band's usual attire?
A. Tuxedo, or event appropriate.



Q. Do you offer live sample performances?
A. Yes, by appointment only. Some restrictions apply.


Q. Do you offer special equipment into your service? (i.e. lasers, bubble machine, disco ball, lighting, etc.)
A. Currently, we only offer lighting, but we're working on the rest.*



Q. Do you offer 'encore' services (brass band)?
A. A brass band consists of marching instruments that don't require amplification. We provide this service with advanced notice* or we can tap into available resources to assist you. Note: We can and do perform most, if not all, of the requested second line / wedding appropriate music.



Q. Do you usually emcee the reception and/or talk between songs?
A. Yes, however, talking is limited to 'congrats' and acknowledgments.



Q. Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the Purchaser provide your meal?
A. Yes, specific to each contract. Standard amenities include bottled water, coffee, sodas, and juice.



Q. Do you play recorded music during your break(s)?
A. Yes, we provide a CD, iPod connection, or you have the option to provide recorded music of your choosing.



Q. How much time do you usually need for setup?
A. Usually, 4-hours prior to event time, but this also depends upon the location of the venue and the time needed for load-in and set-up.



Q. How much space do you usually require?
A. This too depends upon the venue.



Q. What is your rate? Are we responsible for taxes and gratuities?
A. Rates are competitive but are determined based on band size, event type, location and size of venue, hours, number of guests, sound reinforcement, travel costs, hotel accommodations, season, per diem, indoor or outdoor performance, etc. Please note, we require full disclosure of any information that might impact the rate quote. Taxes are included in our established rates. Gratuities are an optional but expected courtesy. 



Q. Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much?
A. Mode of travel, distance, and related factors determine this cost. 



Q. What is your overtime rate?
A. Usually, time (per hour) and a half.



Q. Is a deposit required?
A. Yes, varies according to contract. We offer flex pay through Pay Pal.



Q. Are we responsible for ASCAP fees?
A. According to ASCAP: In the case of a business owner who obtains the ultimate benefit from the performance, it is the business owner who obtains the license.
